Message from Leadership

Shad Singleton, Sales Manager - U.S. & Canada

Harvest Begins with Preparation

Harvest is one of the most demanding and rewarding times of the year for our industry. Months of planning, investment, and hard work all come together over the course of just a few weeks. Success often comes down to preparation, reliable equipment, and the people behind the operation.

At Chief Agri, we've spent the summer doing our part to help customers prepare. From manufacturing and engineering to sales and customer support, our teams have been focused on delivering the products and expertise our customers depend on when it matters most. We understand that when harvest begins, reliability isn't just important. It's essential.

Every harvest also serves as a reminder that our industry is built on strong partnerships. Whether you're a farmer, grain facility, ethanol producer, dealer, or contractor, success depends on people working together toward a common goal. We're proud to be part of that process and grateful for the trust our customers place in us.

As another harvest season gets underway, I want to thank our employees, dealers, customers, and industry partners for everything you do. We wish you a safe, productive harvest and look forward to continuing to support your operation throughout the season.

“When harvest begins, reliability isn't just important—it's essential.”

ENGINEERING UPDATE

Expanding Roof Access Solutions

Safe and efficient roof access is essential for routine inspections, maintenance, and servicing equipment throughout the life of a grain bin. As customer needs continue to evolve, Chief Agri is expanding its roof access product line with additional accessories that provide greater flexibility when designing roof access systems.

Recent additions include:

  • Peak Walkarounds for CB05 through CB11 Unstructured Roofs
  • Full Roof Stairs for CB05 through CB11 Unstructured Roofs
  • Mid-Roof Walkarounds for CB16 and larger Structured Roofs

These new options expand the available roof access configurations while providing convenient access to roof peaks, roof exhausters, and other rooftop equipment. The new roof access options are also available in Chief Agri's AQP quote tool, making it easier for dealers to configure and quote these solutions.

Chief also continues to expand complementary roof access solutions, including roof ladder handrails, peak handrails, and eave handrails. Together, these options give customers the flexibility to select a roof access system that best fits their application while supporting routine inspection, maintenance, and long-term serviceability.

As we continue to develop new products and refine existing designs, customer and dealer feedback remains an important part of our engineering process. We appreciate the input we've received and look forward to continuing to expand our roof access offerings.

Carlson Family Farms Harvest 2025 - Four Generations

Harvest Through the Generations

As another harvest season begins, we're reminded that agriculture is built on more than crops—it's built on family, tradition, and the generations working together to keep farms moving forward.

Last fall, we had the opportunity to visit Carlson Family Farms, where we captured a harvest that reflects the heart of family farming. The video follows the father and sons working together in the field before concluding with a family photo celebrating four generations. From the youngest family members just beginning their journey to the experienced hands who have spent a lifetime farming, it was a powerful reminder that the strength of agriculture lies in the generations who work side by side to carry it forward.

As harvest gets underway across the country, we wish everyone a safe and successful season. We're grateful to play a small role in supporting the families, farms, and partnerships that continue to strengthen agriculture year after year.
